Not sure about that one. I have a Larch that's 15 to 20 years old and it got loads of flowers / cones last year but non this year. |

Not sure on this one myself but I have a quote from the Larch master which might help "Larches and trees in general will flower profusely at two distinct points. One is when they are very healthy, all this vitality causes hormones to be produced that induce flowering. No harm for the tree........ Secondly it will flower profusely when it is on it's last legs, so to speak. The stress induced hormones will also trigger a flowering and thus spend the last energy in procreation" courtesy of Arihato |

I often have a look when I'm wondering about larch. I remember reading this one now. |

I feel we are lucky to still have Arihato's words of wisdom to draw on, particularly concerning larch, even though he is no longer with us in person.
