Hi all,
Managed to purchase a few of the late master 'Arihato's' trees, these were sent Tuesday morning and the UK delivery team have made a massive 'without swearing' mess up of getting them to me. Looks now that I will not see them till Monday at the earliest. Extremely annoyed at this situation.
Do you think the trees will last 6-7 days with no light or water?
Finger crossed, going to give them a piece of my mind once some poor soul answers the phone!

If they are well packed, they'll be fine. End of the season anyway...

I'm guessing they should be OK as they'll be sealed so hopefully moisture loss will be minimal. Having said that I'd have a can at the ready and give em a good soaking on arrival.

Reintroduce them to full sun gradually and shelter from wind.

Hi Clint your trees will be fine. When trees are shipped from Japan, China etc they are in a container and in the dark for weeks at a time so as long as the pot is wrapped to stop it drying out it wont be a problem. Hope that's been of help Nigel.

No delivery today. I hope they arrive tomorrow. You should have had them sent here. I would wait in for them. ;-)
