Post subject:  Trentham Gardens display/demo Sat 8th August
Just a quick note to say that North Staffs and Stoke Bonsai Group are dusting off their bonsai and for the first time in several years are putting on a display of a dozen - 15 of their trees this coming Saturday, 8th August at the mahoosive Trentham Garden Centre, which is off the A34, just south of Newcastle and Stoke (Junction 15 of M6). A few of the more experienced members will also be styling a few trees during the day, including some stock trees that will be available for purchase (at the original ticket price) or raffled off.

The display and demo's will be taking place between 10am and about 4pm and there will be a very warm welcome for anyone dropping in to see us.

For anyone visiting the Trentham Gardens complex for the first time, alongside the Garden Centre there is a large outlet area with loads of log cabins selling all sorts of stuff and also the original gardens which will be open (but which do cost about £10 for an adult to get in, although there are deals via Tesco clubcard etc.)

I'll post an update and a few pics in due course once we've enjoyed our day out...
